Shira joins Oak Park Temple’s Sesquicentennial celebration with events for multiple generations.
On Saturday afternoon at 4pm, we say goodbye to Shabbat with singing, dancing, bedtime stories, and lullabies along with a Havdallah ceremony in a child’s language. Together, we’ll look for three stars in the sky, smell the spices, and hug like the intertwined wicks of the Havdallah candle.
On Sunday morning at 10:15am, Shira leads congregation participants through a meditative service designed to give another way to connect with your Jewish self.
