What is the program?  A highly produced, interactive musical storytelling concert featuring:

  • Singable, danceable, lively music for the whole family
  • Live animated illustration by Charrow
  • Interactive, imaginative storytelling
  • Participatory art making throughout
  • Target age range: families with early childhood and early elementary ages

How long is the program?  Approximately 36 minutes + your customized welcome video.

What is the Concert about?  This year’s concert, Be the Shamash is the This Little light of Mine story for the ages.  We tell the ancient tale of our brave ancestor’s smarts and hearts. Nurturing self expression and individuality, we are invited to shine our inner light in order to build this world together.  Check out an overview of the Set List HERE.

How do I share it with my families?  You will be sent an “embed” code so that you can embed the final video onto your website. From here, you can direct all traffic to your website with a link to families or have a watch party and share it on a private platform like Zoom.

How long do we have access to the video? You are licensing this video for Chanukah 2020. It will expire 60 days after Chanukah.

How do we promote the concert? ShirLaLa will send you a 15 second personalized promo video to send out to your community. You can also download logos and pictures HERE.

What is the Timeline? November 15 - Deadline to receive your Welcome Video.  December 4 – You receive final product.

Requirements for your Welcome Video:

  • 30fps (not 60)
  • 1080p (not 4K)

Camera Placement:

  • Orient the camera or phone horizontally (not vertically)
  • Make sure that the camera is even with your eyes.
  • Place your device in a holder, on a stand, or on a tripod to ensure the camera is level and not shaking.

Sound Control:

  • Ensure that you are in a quiet and controlled environment without noise from fans, motors, electronics, televisions, street noise, etc
  • Use the best microphone possible. The Wave 3 or Yeti can drastically improve the sound quality of your voice
